I attended the wedding two days ago which by the way, I was fashionably late... REALLY late. Well, anyway, I was sitting with the secondary sponsors. As I watched my driver, a person whom I have known for ten years is getting married to the woman he loved for as long as he could remember.
As I sat there, I realized that attending a real wedding is a whole different world compared to watching one in a movie. All our lives, we have seen thousands of movies where the protagonist marries her leading lady at the end and becomes a happy ending. Then, after the wedding, the movie ends we are guaranteed that they will live "Happily Ever After". But in a real wedding, the wedding does not end it all. The Sacrament of Matrimony in the plot of every peron's life is the starting point or the trigger for the climax of his life.At this point, he will have to face all the obstacles and he shall have to battle every force that threatens to ruin the special bond called marriage. The married couple will have to face all external and internal conflicts, ESPECIALLY the inner conflicts which could totally ruin not only their marriage but also their lives.
However, marriage is not all discords and strifes. It's also a comforting thought that amidst all the battles, you still have someone beside you who is your confidant, bestfriend, lover, and crying shoulder at the same time. A state where you feel that you can fight the whole world as lobg as he/she is with you. An ally that you walk hand-in-hand with as you walk over your path of life laid on the battlefield. The special person who gives you the strength, courage, and support that you need to overcome everything that God will slap to your face. Your Guardian Angel who understands you but is not easily swoon or influenced by you and your sometimes twisted views. You give each other a part of yourself but strangely enough, you don't become less. Instead, you become complete and you unite as a whole. I know it's cliche but that's the universal truth not only in marriage but in love.
Well anyway, after marriage no one really knows what will happen next because nothing is really certain in this world... However, as I heard the priest say, "You may now kiss the bride", I asked myself, "I wonder when will my time come?" Hehehe I know, a bit hasty huh? But you just can't help but feel the envy rush to my brain as I saw them wave at us with their big grinlike smiles :D
Oh and one more thing... Why is it that I didn't hear the priest tell the guests, "If any of you think that these two should not be married, stand now or for forever hold your tongue." Well, as if anyone would. But still, just wondering hehehe...

Five hours and counting....
Five hours and counting to tie the knot, to release the doves and to throw the bouquet. Yep, you got it right, it's a wedding. I'm one of the groomsmen and in five hours, my driver who's been with me since I was Grade 4 will get married to the woman he loved for 10 memorable years. I must admit that somehow, deep down inside me, I envy him. Bachelorhood is okay (which is my situation presently) but you just can't beat the thought of someone waiting for you to get home, kiss you and ask you how was your day. To be with a woman for the rest of your mortal life, hand-in-hand with her through all the strifes and trials of life. To endure all the imperfections and flaws of the world and society with a woman who is eternally beautiful in your eyes, unravished by time, untouched by imperfection, unscathed by flaw...
Well anyway, snap back to reality.... My driver's wedding is in five hours and I have to get ready. I'm still half-asleep as I type this because I slept at 4am in the morning (don't ask. you dont wanna know) and I still can't find my formal black shoes (the one I wear with slacks). Well, it's my first time to be one of the groomsmen in a wedding (because usually I'm just a guest) and I don't even have a single clue about it for crying out loud!! Although my sister has been teasing me about one of the bridesmaids, (I don't know don't ask me) and kept on telling me do look my best. I just told her, "uhmmm ate, it's a wedding. I HAVE to look my best".
Five hours and counting to tie the know, release the doves, and throw the bouquet... I jst hope I don't mess anything up...

At last after four torturing days without dsl, it was finally repaired and became operational at 6:00 pm. Maybe the pldt call center got tired of me calling them every 2 hours:p. Anyway, its 5:30 am and I just finished my daily routine at Ragnarok(hehe just sharing) and I have nothing else to do so here I am.
I'm still pissed though at the fact that the party got cancelled. I was already finding a way on how to persuade my mom and my sister to allow me to go despite the soldiers in the streets because of the funeral of FPJ. Well, Pinggoy texted me at about 3 pm and told me that the party got cancelled. He said that something came up daw. Hmm... I think it's more than that. i already have my suspicions but then again, I might be wrong. Miko and Claire, you know what I'm talking about. Ok, clue: The hate poem I composed and discarded due to the fact that I don't really have the right to feel that way to the person. Damn, what a day. But no matter, at least the internet is already operational:P

It's christmas vacation but why am I not having fun? Damn it there're too many things running in my head. Pressure still clings to me with an iron grip. I can barely breathe. the Science Congress, Thesis, Projects, and other issues, these thoughts just rumble all together in my mind causing my headache and stress.
But anyways, enough of that. i'll get over it sooner or later.
Wednesday is coming and to tell the truth, I'm kinda nervous about what will happen. Actually, I'm expecting a fist fight or a brandishing of sharp words and swears but let's just hope that that doesn't happen. Miko and I were talking a week ago and we were actually talking about his issues (and teasing about my past love life). Well, anyway, we had this long conversation and somehow, I got a very good prize for it. Miko promised me something when we were at McDonalds. He promised me that when ****************. Hahaha you don't have to know... It's something personal:P
The Promise was actually made at 3:52pm (Yes miko, I looked at my watch when we agreed to this:P)

Ok, your officially reading my very first post here in blog (yes achievement). Anyways, wala lang. Nandito lang ako sa bahay ngayon trying to look for something to do. I'm in a terrible crisis where it's 4:57 pm and I don't have anything to do except play Ragnarok....
